Present:  Michelle Bartholomew, Tamara Dezellem, Aleesha Kobernik, Shelli Maitland, Cassie Miller, Terry Murphy, Sharon Paine, Peggy Ross, Cindy Rudolph, Debbie Shemorry, and Cathy Sweeney.

Icebreaker:  What handmade items are you working on for gifts this year?

Old Business:

Fall Retreat Recap:  Althea started a “Wonder Wall” Memo Board where members can add post-it notes with ideas for future programming.  The “Wonder Wall” will be brought to all in-person sewing opportunities.

Saturday Sew-in scheduled for November 16, 2024 has been cancelled due to low response.

The last Saturday Sew-In for 2024 is scheduled for December 14th from 9-3 at Cordell, Neher & Co.

Monday Sew-In scheduled for December 2nd via Zoom.  Please note the monthly Zoom sew-in schedule will change to the 4th Thursday effective January, 2025.

2025 Budget presented by Tamara Dezellem.  Budget is based on 23 members.  Budget proposal was sent to members for review last month.  Motion made and passed  to accept 2025 Budget as presented.

2025 DUES set for $50.00; no change from 2024.  Please send payment for dues to P. O. Box  3299, Wenatchee, WA 98807 before December 31, 2024.

Workshop with David Owen Hastings:  Zoom has been scheduled for May 31, 2025 from 9-3 at Cordell, Neher & Co .  The room will be open from 8-5.  Please arrive by 8:30 to set-up.

Members & guests may choose to participate from an offsite location.  

  • Cost for the workshop is $40.00 for Guild members and $75.00 for non-guild members.   
  • Enrollment for Guild Members: Send check for $40 for workshop plus $50.00 for 2025 Guild membership to P. O. Box  3299, Wenatchee, WA 98807 before December 31, 2024.  Please note on your check if you plan to attend the workshop at Cordell, Neher or offsite.  
  • Enrollment for non-guild members will be open in late January at a cost of $75.00 each.  Availability will depend on number of Guild members enrolled.
  • Please bring your own lunch, snacks & drinks.  
  • Supply List will be provided upon receipt of payment.  

Ohme Gardens Quilt Show

  • The 2025 Ohme Gardens Outdoor Quilt Show will be held on July 18, 19 and 20, at 3327 Ohme Road, Wenatchee from 9AM to 6 PM each day.
  • Members are encouraged to display 2 large quilts or the equivalent in small quilts.  Quilts will be taken down each night and stored in Jill’s trailer for safekeeping to be rehung the next morning.  
  • Participating members are asked to volunteer for one of six, four-hour shifts (2 shifts per day).  This will cover hanging and manning the show or manning the show and take down.  
  • Members are asked to commit to the show by March 31, 2025.  Please let Jill know if you plan to show 
  • Ohme Gardens Challenge Quilts
  • Members are encouraged to do a challenge for the Ohme Gardens Outdoor Quilt Show.
  • Rules:
    12” X 12” finished Mini Quilt
  • Must include Featured Fabric on the front of the quilt.
  • Peggy is in charge of the Featured Fabric; if you would like to participate and have not yet received a 5 ½ by 7-inch piece of the Featured Fabric, contact her as soon as possible.
